Facts about Tech
“Heartwarmers From Home” are unique gifts that you can order for your student throughout their time at Tech.
They are perfect for birthdays, special celebrations, pick-me-ups, or simply “just because” and with a variety of options to choose from you are sure to find something for every occasion.
Packages start from just $7.50 and can be ordered with a quick phone call. If you pay with a credit card, we will notify your student within 72 hours (excluding weekends) that they have a gift to be picked up at the Bear’s Den on our main campus. You may of course also place an advanced order for a specific date. We will also include a gift card personalized with your own special message.

“Welcome to WVU Tech”
Welcome them to Tech with a baker’s dozen of our Freshly Baked Assorted Cookies, 2 bottles of Dasani Water, a “10 Drink Card” valid in the Bear’s Den for any hot or cold beverage and a Tech Mug. Items will be packaged in a gift bag for collection.
“Exam Snack Attack”
Help kick start their study habits with 2 Tech Pencils, 1 bag of Salted Potato Chips, 2×20oz bottles of Coke, 2 Hershey Bars, 1 pkt Gum, 1 pkt Lifesavers, 2 Pop Tarts, 1 can of High Energy Drink, and two cups of Oodles of Noodles. Items will be packaged in a gift bag for collection.
“The Icebreaker”
Warm them up with our Icebreaker Gift Bag which contains a baker’s dozen of our Freshly Baked Assorted Cookies, 4 pkts Premium Cocoa, a WVU Tech Toboggan Hat and a WVU Tech Thermal Cup.
“Hugs & Kisses”
Remind them how much they are loved or send this for Valentines Day. We will pack a gift bag with a bag each of Hershey’s Hugs and Hershey’s Kisses, two bottles of Dasani Water and a Small Plush Bear with a Heart.
“The Home Stretch”
Let them celebrate with 3 pkts of Microwave Popcorn, Bag of Tortilla Chips, a Jar of Salsa and 3 bottles (2 liter) of Coke. We’ll also throw in a WVU Ball Cap as a keepsake!
Cakes
Celebrate any occasion with a Freshly Baked, Round Layer Cake to serve six. We can ice a short message on the cake if desired. Plates, forks & napkins also provided.
Fruit Basket
If you are looking for a healthier alternative, this is the gift for you. We will select a variety of fresh seasonal fruit and present them in a beautiful gift basket.
Mylar Balloon
Tell us the occasion (birthday, get well soon, miss you, good job, congratulations…) and we will find a Mylar Balloon to suit.Personalized card also included if desired.
Get Well Kit
When your student needs some TLC but you can’t be here, this is the perfect get well gift to send.The gift bag includes a packet of tissues, 4 Tylenol Tablets, 1 bottle of Dasani Water, 1 can of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, 1 bottle of Minute Maid Orange Juice, 6 pkts Saltine Crackers, 1 pkt Halls Mentholyptus Cough Drops and some Tea Bags.
While the gift package names suggest a certain occasion, all of these packages may be ordered at any time throughout the year. Each package also includes a small card which we can personalize with your own message.
